Детская литература — всегда интересный материал для исследования. Хочется узнать, какие истории захватывают современных детей, читают ли они сказки, которые читали их родители, какие темы актуальны для детских книг сегодня. Yakaboo.ua, взяв за основу самые продаваемых издания для детей, составил собственный топ-50 лучших детских книг.

Оказалось, что в рейтинге примерно пополам позиции заняли классические произведения вроде «Маленького принца», «Алисы в Стране Чудес», «Все о Муми-Троллях», и книги современных украинских и зарубежных авторов — Сашка Дерманского, Леси Ворониной, Джоан Роулинг. Достаточно много в списке книг классика украинской литературы Всеволода Нестайко — это «Тореадори з Васюківки» и «Дивовижні пригоди у лісовій школі». За исключением нескольких позиций, читательский выбор пал на украиноязычные издания.

Если говорить об издательствах, то бесспорными лидерами являются львовское «Видавництво Старого Лева» и киевское «А-ба-ба-га-ла-ма-га», славящиеся как среди родителей, так и игроков издательской отрасли качественным отбором литературы, яркими обложками и иллюстрациями, уровнем переводов и языка и добротными изданиями.

Как ни странно, в рейтинг попали лишь считанные книги для подростков. Это «7 звичок високоефективних підлітків» Шона Кови и «Марта з вулиці Святого Миколая» Дзвинки Матияш. Однако издатели уже начали работу над заполнением этой ниши, и под конец 2015 года было издано несколько книг в категории «подростковая литература», так что следующий рейтинг, вероятно, пополнится большим количеством подобных позиций.
